The Old Saratoga Motor Inn is located in the historic village of Schuylerville. Formerly known as Old Saratoga. Schuylerville was the site of the Battle of Saratoga, Turning Point of the Revolution. The Motor Inn is open all year and features eleven newly renovated rooms. Each room is uniquely decorated with individually controlled heat and air conditioning, as well as color cable TV, refrigerator and microwave.
Room rates vary seasonally from $62 to $120 per night. Master Card and Visa are accepted. Reservations are strongly suggested for racing season mid-July through August, special event weekends, and are also recommended for all weekends June thru October.
The Old Saratoga Motor Inn is easily accessible from Saratoga Springs and I-87 (Northway) in fifteen minutes and is centrally located to other points of interest. Schuylerville lies within the Lakes-to-Locks Passage, the Champlain Canal Byway and Old Saratoga on the Hudson. The Saratoga Battle Monument, Schuyler House, Hudson River and historic Champlain Canal Lock 5 are within walking distance of the Inn.
DIRECTIONS TO OLD SARATOGA MOTOR INN:
From Albany, Saratoga Springs and
I-87 traveling north, or from the Adirondack Region, Glens Falls and I-87
traveling south:
- take Exit 14 to Route 29 east to Schuylerville
From Manchester (and southern
Vermont):
- take Route 7 south to Arlington, then Route 313 to
Cambridge, NY, Route 372 to Greenwich, and follow Route 29 west to
Schuylerville.
